“The more we search for ourselves, the less likely we are to find ourselves; and the more we search for God, and to serve our fellow-men, the more profoundly will we become acquainted with ourselves, and the more inwardly assured. This is one of the great spiritual laws of life.”
(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer, February 18, 1954
This spiritual law is my purpose…I develop spiritually and intellectually as I contribute to the transformation of society. Through my intentional wanderings, I write what I find in my search for innovative spaces and resources for artists to do what they do. And I do mean wanderings. Who knows where I’ll end up in any given post! You may find something about my childhood in New Mexico, my thoughts about racism, my struggles with parenting, (or with not parenting), my adoration of great heroes and heroines, or the freaky things that happen to me in China.
As I become more intentional in my wanderings, I will be more regular in my postings. If you like what you find here, subscribe. And I most heartily appreciate your feedback!
